Â鶹AV is building a new, multi-use self-storage and production, distribution, and repair (PDR) facility in San Francisco’s Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood. The scope of work for the approximately 170,000 SF, five-story, Class A structure includes demolition of the existing structure, self-storage units, PDR space, community use space, and street improvements. The building was originally designed as structural CMU, and through a robust preconstruction effort, the CMU skeleton was re-engineered into a cast-in-place concrete structure. The exterior concrete walls feature a formliner pattern which will be unique for this product type and neighborhood.
