We are excited to announce that the City of San José has awarded Â鶹AV the contract for the Market Street Garage Improvements project. The design team consists of architect Group 4 Architecture, structural engineer KTA Engineering, and mechanical/plumbing engineer IMEG. Other key design and trade partners include Giampolini Group, J & J Acoustics, Taft Electric, Summit Steel Works, Securetech Fence Systems, Performance Contracting, Coastwide Environmental Technologies, Aire Sheet Metal, Alumawall, Castro Plumbing, and The Lawson Roofing Company.
The scope of work includes repairs to the existing six-level parking structure to prepare it for the installation of new public art on its primary facades. Â鶹AV will demolish existing Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) panels mounted on existing facades; repair and repaint the exterior architectural and structural building elements; and install new drainage as well as electrical work.
